Great shot of this unusual and pretty bird. Very sharp focus, perfect depth of field, he really stands out, nice color and detail, the patterning of his feathers is beautiful, great job!

What a pretty bird. Action is evident with the food in its mouth. Coloring is great. Lighting highlights his coloring. Very natural photo. Technique good in the closeup. Eating tells a story. Thanks for posting.

fantastic picture of a rare species. the detail again is so crisp and sharp and the bird stands alone with good separation from the background. shame there was not more green grass in the foreground but a quality photo. the eyes are so awesome.

Thank you so much! I started to change the background but I decided not to because you only see him on the ground or in lower branches on small bushes. This is as natural. That is why I left it alone.

This is a really nice photo. The head is crisp and clear, especially the eye. It is rally shining. Other parts is slightly blurred, but it does not ruin a good initial impact. You have used the light well. The image is well balanced and nicely composed.

The amazing detail and focus is the reason for the strong initial impact. The composition is good and there is action, with the open mouth of the bird. Your subject is dominant, although the backgrond is a little chaotic. Its unfortunate that your background did not contrast more, because the bird gets a little lost in the background. But it is what it is. Maybe something to work with. The focus is immaculate. Really good, seeing every little feather. The color is good and the lighitng is good as well. Very nice image.
