I do enjoy your birds willie. You should do a calendar, or a book, and sell them.

What amazing detail you have managed to capture in this close up shot of a fox sparrow. The colouring of his feathers is really attractive and brought to us in detail due to excellent focus. The angle it is taken at works really well. Good lighting.

Nice picture! This bird has lovely markings and you have captured it in a great pose. The eye is pin sharp and has good catch lights. I don't actually have any more stars to award but I was going to say I'd be tempted to add another half, had it not been for the rather busy background - but that is I guess its natural habitat.

Details from Highlight to mid-tones and dark areas to blacks, give it a full tonal range.
