Very nice photo and one of the best bird photos I have seen. The pose is just perfect and the direction of the head is right into the photo. The color is very well done and the background color is harmonious. Foxy look a little dark and is blending into the background a little. Perhaps giving him a little more brightness or contrast then giving the background a dark vignette would help separate him from the background. Presentation is very good and nice little story to go with it. Great photo. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Very sweet. Well focused. Center of interest is definitely the eye. The leaves and grass frame the subject nicely but this might be one of those rare times when blurring the edges might have separated the subject from the background a little more. Lighting good. Initial impact good. Great capture.

I'll give this a 5 star, becvause I like the colour and cropping, however, it needs a better title, that's first thing judges look at, then look at picture to see if it tells the title's story. Wilf
