Beautiful crisp shot of this beautiful wood pecker. You caught the catchlight in his eye, his colors are just outstanding. I would love to see a full shot of him, so in case you get one, be sure and post it. His strong black and white fearthers make him and your capture an altogether outstanding image.

He is so pretty I love his color combination.
Color, focus and lighting are very nice. I love the detail you captured in his feathers and his eye. He looks so soft. Technically very good. He is nicely placed in the shot. Good DOF. Very nice presentation. Thanks for sharing

Great use of blurred background to bring attention to the subject. The colors are also great as the red really highlights the subject. The attention to detail is great as you can see every feather. The eye of the bird also invokes a sense of wonder as you wonder where he is looking. Great photo.
