Nice sharp detail on this close up of the birdie. Judging by all the colors, it is no doubt a male. The colors a sharp too. The blurred background keeps one's eyes on Mr. Birdie. Great shot.

Another good one Willie how do you get so close. I thinker a slightly deeper DOF would have been good I feel robbed of detail about the level of its crop.

Another beauty Willie. Well in the frame. Very vibrant colours. background is excellent as usual. Shallow depth hasnt caused any distraction. detail is very rich & focus spot on. Beautiful tonal range in the little bird. Another fine capture

Your photos of birds are well executed, and this close up is no exception. The colors are so lovely in these birds and you have captured them well. The head of the bird is very sharp and your focus correct. Use of light is nice and the texture in feathers are good. All together a very nice composition and well balanced.
