Thank you very much for your compassionate review. It is a piece of a broken statuette Quadrupled and assembled with mixed media tools.

At first glance, I see a unique statue. Great eye catcher. At closer look, I see an interesting photo. If it was a regular photo I would say that it needs more contrast, but abstract is abstract. I really do like the subject. It does pull the viewer into it for a closer look. Great job.

Thank you, I appreciate your review and your input. You are right twice. It is not a regular photo but a mixed media. [A statue as shown dos not exist.] It also needs more contrast. It didn't occurred to me but you are right. I'm not sure when it lost the contrast. I look into it. I have to check the original. Maybe I just have to rezise again but it could have lost some color and contrast with the filtering, kaleidoscoping or when I painted into it. I may have to play with the light or go back to an earlier stage and start over. So give me a bit of time. It isn't done in a few minutes.

Nice find and a great contest entry. The design is very well done and becomes a real work of art. Makes a fine presentation and good luck in your contest.

You have used the freedom that digital technology offers to image-makers. You have created a digital image that at once appears captivating in its composition. Good effort.Good luck in the contest!

You captured this nice art work on stone. The colors are sharp and bright and focus is sharp. You captured also the details of the stone art. It is very interesting and impressive picture. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much, I appreciate your kind review. This is not a photo but a mixed media. This stone art dos not exist in reality. The collage is based on a photo of a broken statuette.

Very nicely done. Not sure that this represents Art Nouveau but still a nice capture. Unique presentation. Very original image

Thank you very much, I appreciate your review and your input. Of curse this picture does not represent Art Noveau. Nevertheless it is inspired by Henry Van de Velde's cover design for the 1908 Insel-edition of Nietzsches "Ecce Homo". My picture is composed similar to one of the halves of Van de Velde's design. Maiden featured a quadruple of the same design showing a rounded form [the head] in a curve [the arm]. Of curse I took some artistic licence but I believe this would be legal a century later, would it?
