Very nice composition. Nice lighting. Good focus and very good depth of field. I like the detail in the back of the leaf to the right of the blossom.

It looks an expensive romance, requiring pearls and silk. :) The presentation is very romantic. The placement of these accessories to a romance has been laid down well. The diffused glow of the natural light adds to its romantic appeal. The angle of capture and the focus on the rose make it more elegant and convey the mood. The natural light, blending, and combining with the rose's tone and the accompaniments gives it further refinement. This could do well as a romantic greeting card.

This is beautiful and ever so romantic! Gorgeous subjects chosen, especially like the touch with the pearls. You have created a very soft and quite an old Victorian looking piece. It oozes romance. Beautifully clear and crisp with great detailing come through. Stunning

A very nice still photograph, nicely framed and created. The use of the orange type filter aids the atmosphere of the image so i would say you have achieved exactly what you intended with this photograph.

I don't know if it was intentional but the top right of the image is darker than the rest but i don't think it distracts from what is a great picture

Wow! This is something I really enjoy. What is the rose sitting on, is that the powder box? The set up is great. Great shots are not only comprise of the right items, but their placement as well. I have been in marketing forever and have worked doing photo shots in NYC for magazines. This is exactly what we look for in a "set-up" and hope to capture! Great Job! Good luck in the contest :)

Thank you very much. I am really flattered, and yes, the rose is sitting on the powder box. I did not look good with the rose sitting flat on the silk, and I thought it was a good idea to use the box to lift it. Thought it looked good with a little "gold" as well.
