You must have great light to get one this sharp. Very nicely done. This has to be one of the birds with detail that I have seen for a long time.

You're the man Willie. Great capture or an adorable little bird. Such amazing definition. Love the colors and probably wouldn't mind hearing him sing at 5:30 am.

good stuff. Great focus and DOF, good use of the light also. Watch that background a bit, take a bit of time on these to run a blur brush over the background in PS it will clean up any noise starting to appear. Lastly, if I didnt already tell you , edit all your photos in TIFF first the very last thign you want to to is to save to JPEG, each time you save a jpeg it loses quality and detail. I hate jpg format, work RAW in camera then TIFF in PS and save jpeg only after you size for FAR

well what software do use use, PS will bring in RAW files now. I know your camera can shoot in RAW format.

I have an old copy of PS. I have a newer copy of elements! I have not tried to learn, I guess I need to just haven't taken the time!

AWW, come on..you are giving him a bad rep! They are such feistly little guys, and they make me wake up with a smile..ours are a different wren..but the are pretty much the same bird minus the colors..ours are more grey..they should be back next week, I will try for a shot. Donkeyoatey
