A beautifully composed picture. The shapes really draw you in. The soft diffuse edges do make the picture look more like a painting. A job well done.

I love the overall peaceful feeling I get when looking at this piece. I like the contrast of sharp vs the more diffused background. The torn edges give it a nice framing. Overall a well balanced composition.

I think you're right, its not the most interesting photo, nothing grabs your interest on its own but the changes you've done changes the whole thing and to me anyway the combination of sharpness in the centre with the soft looking water and edges has given it a lot of impact and turned it into something that grabs your attention and makes you stop and look, I think your experiment worked out quite well - Deb

It is quite interesting as you said in your notes. I am not sure about the HDR either. I can't seem to get mine to work properly. Nice image though, and nicely composed. Good work.

I like what you have done. It makes it a very interesting and artistic photo. The framing and composition was good, focus and DOF are sharp, the the added filter and extras make what might have been a hoo-hum into a "hummdinger..." Thanks for sharing. Riki
