    Thank you so much.

You have really achieved your aim here. The background is dealt with in such a way to bring the figure to the viewer, the pose is full of life and movement, and the textures and skin tones are well done.
Great job, B

You did a very nice job of capturing her. You've got every major detail down: her eyes, mouth, hair, the detail of her dress. I like the outline of her arms setting them off. Very nice job!

Seems like I've seen and rated this one already (can't exactly remember) if this is the one but she's still a nice lady to look at.

Thanks for sharing her again.

Haunting piece, with an almost ethereal feel, the woman bears a striking resemblance to Julie Roberts! One can see the care taken to draw this , excellent tonal gradation and highlights. The bottom left has a smoky look, as if she is disappearing into a mist-not quite certain what is happening there! Glad to see more pencil artists on the site! jean

Thank you so much Jean. The mystery object in the foreground is just that, a mystery. Just there to add depth.

Wow I do like this so so much. You have captured her beauty and vulnerability so well, I am captivated by her and wonder, who, what she is thinking, what her struggle is. The only thing is the blurred area bottom left corner and the white distraction right side of her head, for me with out both this is perfection. dave

Thank you Dave. The mystery of the objects is highlights, and foreground unfocus.

I agree; she is quite lovely with her far away look and natural expression. You portray her sensitively and beautifully.
