what a great piece of art the shading is done to perfection the depth you have created here with graphite is hard to do but you did it perfectly fine work here

    I am not into painting. This is where the Lord has directed me. I find that I am so impassioned with the pencil. The shadows and the lights. Before I ever started drawing I would have these dreams of shadowing. Mostly the legs of tables, and chairs. At the time, I didn't know why. When Jamie died and I began to draw, then the reality of those dreams came into consciousness. It was God directing me to the medium that He wanted me to use.

Since I draw from photographs as well, I understand your thoughts! This is manning... I think the pensive quality comes through... the fabric on her dress in so beautifully represented. ...and I like the cloud effect that was done... as her mind is in the clouds. Nice work
