I don't know what this is either, but I bet he would taste pretty good done up on a grill minus the hair of course...nice capture here with a vignette as strange as the animal in the image, but nicely done!

I'm pretty sure this is an Irish Longhair. My Dad has a neighbor who has 2 of them. They are more like big fat hairy dogs. Very nice beings, they just graze around, and wait for someone to pet them.

This is a lovely example of Highland Cattle - originally from my homeland of Scotland. They are an extremely hard breed as they need to be as they are overwintered on the harsh moors of Northern Scotland - hence the name -Highland Cattle. They are also known to be amongst the more docile amongst bovines. I love this picture - and the vignetting gives it a very 'romantic' feel - one would be tempted to call this fellow William Wallace aka Braveheart!

Good picture,
good details, and colors and tones.

Not sure but I think it might be a Aberdeen Angus well it looks like it but im not sure.
I have dropped 1/2 point for the vignette as i think its to obvious and draws the eye away from main subject.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Sarah,Thanks for taking a guess at what this fellow is. You've given me something to look up now. I disagree with you about the vignette, but with a smile. We all see things differently! Thanks for stopping by to review. :o)

Hope my guess at your subject is of help and yes we do see things differantly and I think life would be rather boring if we did not....lol

Happy hunting of your subjects origin.
