Great photograph Willie of the Grossbeak. It's nice you caught him with a sunflower seed in his beak it shows why they are called grossbeaks. Dave

What a lovely colorful bird. Not one of your best, but I would have been very proud of it if it was my work. I am trying to figure out what is wrong here. The bird is nice and sharp. The background is nicely blurred and the light looks good as well. I think it is the missing tail more than anything that for some reason destroy the balance a bit. It would probably be better to crop tighter or to include the tail. I know I am a little picky now, because it is after all another stunning image from your hand.

This is a really great capture of a beautiful bird. I have never seen one of these before. I like how you captured the seed in it's mouth. Great focus and framing. Great capture!!

a nice capture. Your tech skills are spot on, and the composition is interesting - the stick going off on an angle in the right third of the frame is a nice touch. Colors look vivid and the seed in its mouth is an added bonus. Thanks for sharing!

Nice story telling ability. The bird looks like he is talking to you, with his beak open. Nice depth of field, good exposure and great composition.

This is again one of the best bird photos I have ever seen. Except for the "blown out" whites, it is simply a great presentation. Thanks for sharing your time and amazing talent for shooting birds.

Thank you so very much! This white is the hardest to keep from blowing out! This was not in brite sun. I have tried all I know to keep it from blowing out! Women in a wedding gown is hard too!

A very colorful bird indeed. The red breast really makes him striking. Good clarity and sharpness as usual presenting excellent details. Fine natural color tones preserved too. One can understand why you chose the title. That branch too adds to the beauty of this capture by giving it more structure. Fine light and beautifully presented. An interesting expression and pose captured as well. The green background highlights the natural beauty seen in this.
