You really do a great job of capturing birds. I love the perspective and crop on this. Focus is outstanding, especially on his eye and beak! I like the shallow dof here. Great job!

Great shot with a story saying "I got it and I am flying away with it!" Excellent detail in the face, eye, beak and good composition. It's hard to catch feather texture when you have black and white together but you got enough of it so as to keep the focal point on the bird's expression. Lighting and exposure very good, nice contrasting, non-distracting background for this fellow to be shown off with.

Very good initial impact. Great focus, good story telling, he's watching and being wary. Nice quiet bg, good texture, very good lighting and technique. This image is made all the more nicer by the bird holding some grain with that protective stare. TY

This one caught me attention because of the clarity of the photo and the simplicity of the subject and background. Focus elements are well managed to keep the eye on the subject.
The green background keeps the eye on the subject and invites a thorough investigation of the towhee.
