Great shot. Focus is crisp and sharp, contrast and light perfect. B&W works well here and the eye is immediately drawn to the subjects eye due to the fab flash of emerald green. Love the detail, individual hair stands and eye lashes in particular.

I like the composition of this piece, and the technique of selective color. The title should probably be "...Eye", since there is only one. And being so close up, it's a little disappointing to see so little resolution and detail. They eye itself seems out of focus, while the hair in front of it seems crisp. We would say the image is front-focused, which is a little mistake in focus. I bet her iris has some beautiful detail in it, but it is too blurry to see. But otherwise you have nice even tones and the color really pops.

Thanks so much for your critique, I agree with the focus. I took a gamble using such a shallow depth of field but overall I do think it comes together. I agree with everything you said, thanks so much!
