This is a really cute close-up. Lots of expressive detail in the face. Nice catch lights in the eye. Interesting composition. Could have been a bit sharper but a really enjoyable image. Lynnmarie

Really lovely warm picture of a peaceful looking animal. The image possibly could have done with being rotated into portrait but i wont let that take anything away from this image. Really nice taken, nice and close up and the true character of the animal has been shown.

Nice photo! Good job with composition, contrast, exposure, and your subject was sharply focused and filled the frame. The photo was simplified with nothing to compete with your subject. Thank you for sharing it

What a wonderful photo. You really captured the eyes. I like the white in the beard, it gives him a dignified look. He has such a wise look on his face. It looks like he is lying down or does he just have his head tilted that way? It is definitely an interesting photo of him.

Thanks for comments, he was actually lying down resting which was the perfect moment to capture this photo.

I thought so from the angle.

the angle !!! so good and interesting ..normally people would put the creature upright , but this is different and I like it

Your welcome, I agree with comment and should probably have named it Sad Brown Eyes there just seems so much emotion there.
