A wonderful image, so simple but so powerful. I like the framing and the viewer can spend as much time on each item with out feeling rushed to view the whole image at once.

Just wonderful, love the hat, the great decorative pieces on the hat..the run place just so at an angle, and the tree as support, its just so cool, and really fascinating and the story with it as well!

Living in the UK and never having visited the States, your photographs show me a world that basically I have only ever seen on TV......for instance, hardly anyone here owns a gun and you need about 3 licences and all kinds of checks to do so......so our worlds are very different. But yours is fascinating and the story is too funny.....great image and great tribute to your brother. Makes my life seem very dull in comparison ! Looking forward to seeing lots more and thanks for sharing!

Such a wonderful and 'make me smile big' review!! A little sitting on the fence about the gun thing, too many here, have commit heart wrenching crime--to me I love guns for sport, not even want to shoot at anything except targets, nothing living---I won't even kill spider, take outside and let be--Thank you for your superb review einzuzehn!!!

LowRider, well here you are. Great to see another of your superior, although too tightly cropped photographs. I do love the subject matter, the perspective and the lighting; and the image is very sharp. I do think, however, that this wonderful image is too tightly cropped. Oh, I already mentioned that.

My dearest, sweetest Papa, close crop is a major part of my 'style', my individuality, I am sure you will admit I am very individualized, don't think that a word yet but I will make sure will be! Close crop jist me Papa--I understand, you prefer not so close crop, but please just except me for me, my style of choice is jist me bein' me---that said, thank you for your wonderful review Mr. TeddyBear!!

I like the composition.. the hat with the shotgun.....
actually me like shooting too.... yes, shooting with a gun... but we cant do it in our country... and those club for shooting is expensive.... so, I go for another kind of shooting... photography shooting~~ (^o^)

Very nicely staged lowrider! This would look so nice in any one's house that loves that western theme! This would make another great painting :-). Love the angle you took this at and the lighting and colors are great. Wish the hat was a little crisper but certainly its fine as it is.

LowRider I didn't think you could ever out do Heart & Soul Photo and Story, But by gosh you did with Accolade. You are my kinda girl,not. Just kiddin. I had to be the tough baby sis too. You have the nack for stagin a shot. This shot is so awesome. The forked tree number one is perfection for the backdrop. The shot guns barrel being cocked open another perfect choice. Bros/Your hat postion balances this photo perfectly. Darn Deb I guess this makes this photo perfect. The story goes far beyond perfection, there aren't words good enough for all of your stories. Take Ben's advise or I am gonna put them in a safe place till ya come to your senses! Kiddin again!

Ah, Lowrider, I enjoy your stories as much as I enjoy your photos. Lil bro learned soon of her sis' character, eh?
as to the photo, Ilike the composition a lot in its contrast of the hat and the gun. Good light and depth of field. I only find a shade of cyan in excess in the trunk.
