This is truly special and I agree, rare. You got your lens up close and personal and that tiny bird beak is clear as a whistle.

I love these birds! Just a minute ago I was outside and my feeder is empty and one came up to it and then sat on the branch next to it in disappointment I'm sure but then looked over at me and flew in front of my face about a foot away! It was so neat to see it hover right there. I filled the feeder now so they should be back soon. :) Great capture here though. Very nice detail and framing and such a soft and smooth background :)

I love these birds! Excellent. Interesting notes. I love hummingbirds and have never seen one on its nest so what a marvelous sight you have seen. Super clarity. The details are wonderful. Her eye looks great. Can't wait to see the eggs. Have not ever seen them either. Thanks for sharing.

What a great picture. We were in St. Lucia and saw one on a nest and we did get pictures,. but none this good. This is excellent. Love those little birds. Thanks so much for sharing.
