Well done, Willie. The angle of the bird is great & the fact that you managed to capture this picture without disturbing her makes it even more remarkable. Good focus & depth of field. An excellent result such as this is what makes photography so satisfying. Neil

Great focus and detail, this was a very rare shot indeed! Well done, good crop, nice lighting and blur in the background. These little guys are some of the toughest animals to get photos of.

This is a super capture here of the nesting bird. I don't think many people could really see her because of the way she is tucked into the nest. This is nice and you must also be a avid bird watcher. Nice photo here!

Yes, this is certainly a wonderful capture. Hummer in the nest. The photo looks really sharp and presents good details. Nice non distracting background brings out the subject. Well done and thanks for sharing.

I've only seen one one time too. I was on my grandfathers mobile home porch in SO. Cal. in his staghorn fern. How lucky you are and thanks for sharing her with us.

An unusual and pretty unique picture and worth 5 for that. Lovely and sharp with good DOF. While I think this is pretty special and would be of great interest in specialist circles, I don't feel it is the strongest of your images, in terms of composition. And how could it be when you have to be so quick off the Mark? Very much enjoyed though.

What nice clarity - I love how you can see so clearly the fibers in her little beak! The background is nice also - fades out enough so that the tree branch is not too much a distraction

What a nice are rare catch. The composition and cropping is well done as the subject is in the left and lower 1/3 and leading into the photograph. Good lighting and colors. Bird is well focused and sharp in detail. Great shot.

Sorry Willie I will have to do a cyber six as I have no others. I've only seen one hummingbird nest out at my brother and laws and it was about 40 feet off the ground so I could ever get a good picture of it. Your patience really paid off this is an actual photograph. Dave
