This is a nice stop action photograph of a hummingbird. The blurring of the right wing gives the viewer a sense of movement even though there is stop action. You did a nice job cropping because the composition looks very good. What really helps this photograph is the effect of the back lighting. The scene is wonderful to look at. Good luck with the contest.

Great shot. Capturing a bird in flight is always very difficult. Yet you have captured something very special indeed.
Very detailed and dynamic. One slight suggestion maybe is that the picture is too central, but I guess thats just a personal taste.

Wow this is technical excellence. A great shot with excellent focus and great DoF and back ground color. The detail is spot on an the exposure level is great for my particulare taste. Nice capture!

What a great shot! Wonderful impact. I love the bokeh. The lighting on the subject is perfect, really make the color harmony. Good presentation and framing. The photo speaks for it's self about technical Excellence, at least to anyone who's tried to photograph birds.
