This is adorable. How old is he? He looks like a baby. Nice focus and detail displayed on his fur and that face! The only distracting thing to me is the green blue which possibly you could clone out. But, it doesn't take away from your main subject that you have shown in good detail.

Thanks for the review, not sure how old this one is but the zoo has had red pandas since 1975 which have produced around 20 cubs sent around the world. Will be going back to the zoo with my grandson visiting from Japan soon so hopefully will get some better photos then.

I just want to hug him but he doesn't look like he needs a hug right now. Is that a snarl or a pant?
Great background and great subject!

This is a nice nature photography. You have timed it well. The panda has been beautifully captured on camera. The sharpness is impressive. The light and composition are also fine .

Although you have the panda completely inside the frame and his eye is open, clarity of you subject is lacking. With animals was well as people, its especially important to have the face-in- focus. Keep practicing. Sports photographers learn to anticipate where a player will move, then they make sure they are there to get that perfect shot. That is how you do it with a moving animal - anticipate where it is going, have the lens pointed and focused and "get your shot."
