A fly

It's very good with nice focus.
However I thing the sharpening has overdone it and made it look like a plastic fly.
I'd unsharpen and also reduce the contrast a little .

Very pretty fly - you even managed to get its little foot pads!

I love watching flies, I find them fascinating, how playful they actually seem sometimes. Then again, I have a tendency to personify everything, which is why, initially, I thought you'd named the fly "Annie." 'Cause that's what I would have done. (Though I probably would have named it "Loretta.") LOL

Great shot, thanks for posting,

Cheers,
mortuck

Lovely capture. Very nice focus and DoF. The image is a little grainy but apart from that very nice work indeed. It might be due to high contrast or saturation settings, as the ISO seems low enough, or maybe the light was a tard underexposed.
Brilliant work though, I take similar pictures sometimes and its a very good photo indeed.

I'll bet this little guy has no idea how much work and frustration was put into taking his photo! Excellent details on his body and wings- very sharp. The veins in the leaf are so clear and focused as well. Definitely worth the effort!

Great shot. Beautiful capture of colors. THe black backdrop really makes the rest of the image pop off of the screen. THe detail in the leaf and fly are phenomenal Great focus and lighting. Nicely done .

Well he did in the end - didn't he - I like your photo and find is so very sharp and clear - I cannot imagine that it is possible to take such a close photo - but on the other hand, I have just i tiny little digital camera and I don't know much about fotografering anyway - well done!

Five stars for your patience, anxiety, anger, frivolity, and finally success in bringing this image to the monitor.
