This is a fantastic picture, they are hard little critters to catch, so flighty lol You did really well. The colours are perfect and the focus is spot on. Awesome work! :)

Fantastic initial impact. Good focus and DoF. Lovely clarity on butterfly, flowers and leaves. Nice composition. There is great detail in the butterfly and the colours in the shot work together well. Lovely capture :)

A good job here willie, and clever to, positioning yourself square over the butterfly if you can enables you to get the whole length in focus.
The framing is perfect the light is great and the focus is pin sharp.

Lovely all the way around. Sharpness of not just the tiger butterfly, but some of the tinniest areas of the flower! Hard to do sometimes! Great colors and nice blue sky! Great job! This is a winner! Surely my favorite!

You caught an great initial impact image of the tiger swallowtail butterfly. It never ceases to amaze me at the huge variety and the various colored butterflies. Actually what is more amazing is that you know the name of it. Good artist notes. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so very much! It is because of photography that I became interested in butterfly's. I bought a book on them and everytime I shoot a new one I look them up and read about them. It is very interesting.
