Good initial impact. Good focus and lighting. Good color harmony with almost a focal B&W provided by the black and white tapir. The, what looks like a, talking tapir is the center of interest. Good composition, cropping and framing. Good technique, technical skill and story telling potential. Creativity in title, presentation and artist's notes.

I find that the overall photograph is a bit soft. Close the lens down to achieve more sharpness. Also you might increase your shutter speed as most animals move constantly and this will cause a bit of motion blur. I would have warmed up the photo by adding a little red to the photograph. Try cropping the photograph a little closer to the right side pig, otherwise a nice cropping. The density is pretty good also. A nice shot for the family album.
Take care,
Cheers.

Nice capture. The frame needs a little work and like you said the lighting wasnt perfect. But overall, nice and impactful.

Thanks for the review. Although tapirs are often mistaken for pigs and anteaters, they're in the odd-toed hooved animal family. These are Malay tapirs which are endangered natural enemies are the tiger and man
