As you say, maybe not technically perfect, but who cares? It is an interesting shot with interesting light. This does tell a story. Focus & composition good.

Great balance to the image.
The eye centers quite quickly but without taking away from the lemurs.
The contrast of textures, shapes and colours creates a very pleasing image.

Lovely capture. The lemurs make a very interesting subject and the framing is good. The red light is probably from their little shed and it looks very nice. Overall a nice picture.

Interesting the way they are all huddled up in the background. At least that way they are keeping warm. I think this would have been better if you had been able to get them closer. I also think the red lighting takes away from them.

Thanks for the review - the red light is from the infrared heater that is assisting in keeping them warm.
