Wow. He must have an amazing reach. There is lots of detail in this photo - the arms are the most significant. Unfortunately, the dark fur appears too extreme next to the soft background but I cannot be absolutely sure without looking him up. Wish I knew what kind of animal he/she is.

Thanks for the review - it is a gibbon which is either black with white face or golden color at least at the zoo where I took pic.

I suppose if you were swinging from tree to tree your whole life, your arms would be long as well. It is a very good shot. What impresses me the most is actually how well you managed to get details in the black fur. Always a bit tricky. It is nice details in the monkey's face as well, and your focus is nice and sharp. Excellent use of light. Very nice and natural colors. This is a very nice composition with good balance and DOFF.

Gee with arms this long, how long are the legs? What a neat looking animal. I like the way you took this so close up of him. The lighting, focus and overall impression are all excellent.

They must be longer than the size of his body there!! Nicely captured as you have him looking in your direction in this shot. Colours are good, but you can feel the cold coming from the shot!!

Thanks for sharing

Awesome! Unbelievably long arms! Such a deep rich color; good contrast against the dull stone and grass. Great capture!
