Nice subject matter!
I like the scene. Seeing a shot like this seems odd seeing the land in the background.
The main subject is the surfers. To make it better a tighter crop would help to show them better. It is also out of focus, the most important thing.

Thanks for your honesty, I was playing with the settings to get movement and lost focus in the process. Will practice more next time down on the coast and hopefully improve.

If you know it is out of focus do not show it. Try to compose a shot through the lens.

Sorry I didn't realise it was so out of focus until pointed out by other reviewers. If the cataract in my left eye gets big enough to operate on hopefully that will stop my focus issues, but sometimes a photo will slip through :)

Very good photograph for storytelling. Good action shot for interest. Just wish it was a bit clearer and not so fuzzy and maybe cropped a bit tighter. Good job.

I really like the composition of this photo, and the waves are captured beautifully. I wish perhaps the surfers were a little closer or more in focus, but overall a great picture. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for review, was playing with different settings to try and capture movement - more practice and hopefully when I concentrate on one thing I will remember to check other important details like focus :)
