This image has very high impact, with that shock of bright yellow against the blue highrises, a great contrast of nature and architecture. I have a couple of suggestions: (1) The perspective could be adjusted slightly, as the building on the right is distorted by the lens -- If you have Photoshop it's a very easy fix, but other software might do the same. (2) The white sky detract from the overall appeal of the photo, so have you considered cropping it further to remove the sly altogether? If that option makes the image unbalanced, you may crop the field of flowers a little to balance it again. Or, as an alternative to cropping the sky out, you could add some mild color (ie a light grey-blue that would go with the cool light of the day) or even add some clouds in similar tones. Nice work anyway, though, and perfect for the contest!

Thanks for your feedback, don't have photoshop but may play around with another program to see the impact of your suggestions.

This really is an amazing slash of color in a city. I thought at first you had joined two images to make this, making this even more remarkable to me. Good lines on the tall building in the background, with contrasting green in the middle, and of course bright yellow in the foreground. Nice image.

Nice shot!
This is very pretty! It is rather unusual too. I see farm fields like this in the spring from the wild mustard. I would not expect to see this in a city. I can for sure see the color yellow. Good luck in the contest!
