Very nice! Also, a very unusual picture with boats in it.

Belongs in the boat contest. Yes unusual with so little water and the boats just all sitting there! Like the sharp focus and great shadows and lighting you achieved! Framing is perfect to achieve the wonderful details on this unique image!

This is a fascinating picture the way you took it. Amazing that the boats get stranded like this when the tide is out. Just amazing is that so much water comes back in with the tide to float some of the bigger boats. Interesting picture.

I have studied your photo longer then I do others. You have a good photo, focus, depth of felid, good color and a all around good photo. Now, this is just my opinion, it was your camera, your scean, and your view. My first view it was to cluttered. I am a boat lover so my eyes went directly to the boats, not the castle. We need to remove some of the clutter. For me, frits I would have moved over to your right so that the castle was framed by the blue boat on the right and the white sailboat on the left. This may have give you a better shot down the front, with the flags flying. If possible I would have cropped from right behind and under the sailboat over to the right side under the blue boat. You would still have some boats high and dry plus a better view of you main subject, the castle. You want to make the subject very clear, Focus all attention on the subject and last get rid of the clutter, things that distract from the subject. I hope this helps. You seem to doing good , just keep up the good work.

I've never seen a group of boats stranded like this! I wonder if they're damaged by sitting in the mud. Love that all the boats are blue and white - goes so nicely with the bright blue sky. Love the castle as a backdrop...not something you see every day. Very nice lighting here, wonderful, natural looking colors, great DOF. Very interesting! Lynnmarie

I would love to go to Wales and ireland and all those places lol I love how much interest is in this shot. the boats in the foreground not on water even but stranded in the mud and then that fantastic backdrop of a castle. Wonderful scene and well done. :)
