Gorgeous capture!! Love the light, focal refinement and touch of tone. Nice tight framing of your subject up close as well as isolation created with the dark background.

Thank you so very much! It was a late afternoon on an overcast day shot with flash. After the download I saw the background was a deep dark green. I adjusted the contrast and the background turned black.

Very nice composition and tight crop. The position of the bird just fills the photo. The dark background really helps show the details in the feathers and the bird in general. I have often tried and usually failed to capture a hummingbird in flight like this. Very nice!
