Reflection of Dali portrait with mirrored effect

Awesome photo. It's amazing what came out of painting half a face on a hall with mirrored walls. I read someone's entry that said it would be a good idea to crop on the right and at the top...I agree. I think it would add to the effect even more by getting rid of empty, excess space. This is a fine picture. It is certainly one that is unique enough to linger on the mind for a while.

Thank you for taking the time to review this piece. I love the suggestion about cropping the top and right side and am going to do so.

Interesting shot. Not sure exactly what I like about it most but it didn't seem positioned just right. This is one of those images that seem enhanced when it is more symetrically presented.

Thank you for your insightful review. I agree with your comment that the picture isn't positioned just right. In the rush of trying to get the shot while no one was coming up or down the staircase (and not anger the tourists behind me) I quickly shot from the center of the staircase. I should have stepped to the right a little to get a full face on the left as well as right.

Very interesting shot. I love the stairs, its hues and the curvature of the siderails....not to mention the reflective image to the left (my left). That face, wow. I think I'd be afraid to climb up them. Nice lighting accents.

Thanks for your review. The reflective image is actually on the left and right side. In my haste to get the shot without people coming up and down the stairs I intuitively snapped from the center of the stairwell which cut off part of the left side image.

WHAT A GREAT UES OF THE STAIR ANGLE AND HOW AWESOME THE WHOLE SHOT , I LIKE THE SIMPLICITY OF YOUR SHOT BUT THE ONLY THING WOULD BE TO CROP THE SIDE WALL OUT AND THE VERY TOP SO YOU JUST HAVE STAIRS & PHOTO

This is tricky. You really have to study it to realise that there is a mirror running down the sides. It looks familiar. Where was it taken.

Thanks for your review. The picture was taken at the Dali Museum in Figeras, Spain. It requires a little detour from the main tourist cities but definitely worth the trip if you haven't been and ever find yourself in Spain.

Excellent picture, my only question is what did you use to make it. Very intriguing design. Keep up the excellent work.

Thank you for your rave review. You are too kind. The image is an unaltered photograph taken in the Dali Museum in Figueras, Spain where there is a picture of half of Dali's face surrounded by mirrored walls. The hardest part was just waiting for the stairwell to be clear of tourists. Thanks again.

Loved Dalis' work, in particular the 'dripping' clock' and find it quite mindblowing. Am rapt you are a fan of his too. Best wishes.
