A black background is probable best. Keeps the viewers eyes right on the subject, no other place to go. Good work, keep it up.

What a great capture this is with nice light. I found out the light is the main problem shooting these birds. Either it is too much or not enough. You almost have too much on the head where it is losing a little detail, but I still really like it. I can not wait until I get back to Arizona and try to get some good captures.
