This is an interesting stop action photograph. You used a fast enough shutter speed so that there is no blur from the flapping wings. You did a really good job cropping because the composition looks really good. I like the dark background to give the bird more contrast.

Wonderful shot! I know from experience how difficult it is to get a decent shot of these little guys so I admire anyone that can pull it off. Which you really did here, great color and detail in the bird and perfect framing.
