This is awesome. I find it amazing that this lady would live in a place like this for so many years. It looks so deserted like there would be nothing around there for miles.I wonder if she had any cooking facilities in this place.Great story telling image. Good job all around.

Another great shot. You do a wonderful job with the lighting in your images. Great lighting really helps bring out the textures in a photo. I really like the blue door here. The piles of rock on the left is very nice. Well done.

Very interesting shot, the blue of the door really makes it pop and adds interest to the building and the shot

Great story with this. Lovely textures. Good composition. Color tones are interesting. Good light to show lots of detail. Focus and clarity are fine.

This picture has so much history to it. I love the story your told about the last person to live in this area. The rocks that are stacked upon each other is very interesting. The focus is great, lighting great, and technique great. The best is the storytelling.

What a wonderful shot of this old, decaying house. I love the stone slabs and all of their various colors. The open door is the perfect ending, I guess. The only thing missing from your wonderful notes was what happened to the old lady, I assume she died, but I was curious as to how long ago it was. I was just wondering how long this house and the town had been deserted. I was also curious as to why the town became deserted. I know, I'm a very curious person.

Amazing picture the way you took it. This doesn't look like it would be the safest place to live. I like the way the rocks are used to build this house. I hope she had some one to take care of her when she lived here. An excellent and interesting picture. Nice write up too.

i feel they are always the best shots, the ones that are not cropped. they seem far more realistic. this is one of your best shots (for me). i love the story, the mystery, the whys and the hows. i ran out of sixes but this is too perfect.
