If I didn't know better I would say you were my friend! LOL! She is an amazing photographer choosing to shoot, among many other things, flowers and the ocean.

She too is a musician/singer/songwriter and often will refer to songs to communicate as you have here.

This particular photograph reminds me of her because much of her themes seem to have dew or 'tears'. This Hibiscus is heavy with morning dew and rich with beauty.

The initial impact is strong and the clarity and lighting perfection. You have backed it up with great storytelling and artist's notes.

Love this.

Thanks so much for unexpected encouragement and reviewing my favorite photo. I really like the detailed review on my photo, which helps me know my photography better. Yes, I'm your friend:) LOL as well. I write on FS, but just don't always make it to feature page. Seems I've read your work there too, or maybe someone else. Feel free to read my poems. My photos; I'm working with and these nice comments help.

Thank you so very much for this very rewarding review. I had hoped the raindrops would have some effect. I'm so glad you reviewed my art.

This is a very pretty catch complete with raindrops. Although the clarity appears a tiny bit shy of optimal, I do not know if it could tolerate higher adjustments since its color is perfect, as is its staging (placement) within the frame.

Thanks so much for this. Yes I wonder how crisp it is to the viewer, because depending on what angle I look at it, I'm not sure. It seemed far more clear than my previous work, but thanks for the careful look at my work.

The presentation is very good. Love how the flower is weighed down by the rain You adjustment on the technical aspect are very good and really made your main subject pop. I have these flowers and find them very difficult to shoot. Very nice thank you for sharing.

How pretty and the rain drops add so much to the bloom giving it the droopy look after a hard rain! Looks like a delicate bloom and the colors are beautiful!Nice crisp focus and perfect framing! Best of luck in the contest!

I love the color of this flower. This is a great photo you captured. Such vivid color. The rain drops on top look like there sliding off the flower. Great job.
