Thank you so much for such a compliment to this painting. Say the word and I'll email you a high res copy so you can enlarge it if you'd like. YOU made my evening by reviewing my older works. I'll message you my email address, and no charge for the copy, your reviews means enough

The depth of this painting is wonderufl! The colors are both soft and strong at the same time. Very dramatic!

I am so glad you liked this painting. I'm never too fond of any of my paintings and see a lot of error in all of them, but of my paintings this is the only one I half way liked. Thank you so much for the review

nicely done square-rigger. I liked the colors of both the sea and the sky. You left more space on the left, for the ship to sail into, that's good. The sails are braced to starboard quarter, which is consistent with the wave action. Normally I don't like to see the horizon line bisect the image, but it works here because the areas below and above are both quite interesting. I am glad I am not standing on the poop deck, it looks like it's getting drenched.

Beautiful! The water and sky are a very nice contrast. The only thing that I would change is that the sailboat could have been a bit larger in relation to the painting. This is only a subjective opinion as your work is Excellent!

I really appreciate your opinion on this painting Thaneal and your complment to it. I think the detail that I put into the ship would have been a lot better if I had made the boat bigger, wish I had LOL
thank you agian

This is just wonderful! The colors are soft to the eyes. The photo itself looks so realistic, and well put together. I appreciate you for sharing this with everyone. Great Job!

thank you so much Hebert for such a kind review. I'm so glad you liked this one. I'm not much of a fan of any of my own work but this was one of the few that I actually liked no doubt because it took so long with all that rigging.
thank you agian your review means alot

This is really awesome! The detail is exquisite. The lighting on the water is unbelievably realistic, as is the detail in the ship. Nice colors and excellent composition. Thanks for sharing and you get my vote in the contest.

I can't thank you enough robina for such a wonderful review. I wish I could do this type of work on painted canvas but for me the only way this type of work would be on canvas is if I took this painting and had it mounted LOL
thank you again

This is colorful, beautiful, but I would have prefered to have shifted the ship more to the left. A picture to be proud of. Thanks for sharing it. -E.

thank you so much shields for a fantastic review and rating. I had began with the ship in the center but it was my husbands advice to move it off to the side, I felt the painting looked off center so I'll have to give him the hit on that one LOL
I can't thank you enough for the fantastic review and rating
