This is a stunning picture of this beautiful little bird. I am amazed that you can get their wings to look like this as fast as they move. The detail and the way the black background look on this are excellent.

They are just too fast for me. I have tried to capture one shot but just can't get it. Next year I am getting a feeder and maybe they will stay longer. This is a great shot. Love the lighting, composition and focus of this. Excellent job.

Great shot Willie. I too have been spending the last few days shooting Humming bird photos. Just haven't got the one I like well enough to post yet. I have some I took yesterday that I haven't processed and am going out to take more as soon as I am done here. There is a good noise program by imagenomic called noiseware you might investigate. Dave

Thank you so very much! I can not aford to spend any more money this year! I know I will have to get something because a good shot can be ruined because of it! I will give you a tip! When you are shooting these guys, focus on the peg on the feeder then move off a little and watch, as the bird flys into that area shoot! I have been getting about five good ones per fifty!
