I love this. So beautiful. I love seeing the movement in the wings and seeing everything else with such great focus. Love the dark background against the colours of the bird. Wonderful detail. Well done.

This is a wonderful, nature shot. The bright colors are very unique. The wings were caught perfectly, and have a feel of flight. This is like super-slow motion. Those birds can flutter their wings how fast?

I've tried hummingbird shots.. and I have never been successful. They are a difficult bird to catch.. well done! I am amazed at the detail you caught on her back feathers. Beautiful!

This is one of the most amazing humming bird pictures i have ever seen. Hardly any blur, it just looks like it is still, suspended in the air. What is even better is that this was a deliberate photo. I am actually surprised with the quality of photo that the shutter speed an 300mm max was enough to do it! Great effort!

Thank you so very much for a great review and high score! I was using 1000/sec and the lens was on about 200mm. As close as I was 300mm would be to close!

No doubt a about it. This is a very nice and enjoyable photo! Great composition and colours with no real hint of action blur. Not that I am an expert but many of them often say shoot with low ISO number but maybe you have already considered this?
