What a cool cake, really neat idea. I like that there are not any background distractions. The lighting could be a little better. Focus and DOF look good and there is plenty of color. Nice capture, maybe a before and after would have been a good shot to combine:))

Thanks for the review, hahahaha there wasn't much of the after it was pretty well demolished by both kids and adults, very tasty though.

Very cute and such a nice idea. The photo, however, is a bit blurry adn a hair out of focus. Good composition. Nice looking cake.

Very good initial impact. Good focus, lighting and color harmony. The center of interest is the love of the parent creating this unique Birthday cake. Good composition. Good technique, technical skill and story telling potential. Creativity in title, notes and presentation.

Oh this is just the greatest for any small boy Mary! Like all the colors and the painsaking time it took to create this wonderful cake! Thanks very much for the review and great stars. Jake loved his cake and party. His mom was exhausted as little brother is due to make an arrival at anytime, I will be taking pictures of the home birth.
