How unique is this?? The colors are nice and vibrant with great clarity. Like the wonderful d.o.f. and the great shadows! Nice shooting and appreciate the awesome narrative of this ancient tree Mary!

What an amazing looking tree. I bet it is fascinating to see. I like the way you took this so you see the entire tree in the picture. An excellent write up telling about the tree too. Hard to believe that someone actually lived in this tree. An excellent picture.

Visual impact good, beauiful composition and depth. Would have been better if you had captured the whole of the tree, hence the star rating given. Interesting story behind this.Appreciate you sharing.

Thanks very much, unfortunately the tree is quite tall and if you capture the whole then you miss the details of the base which really is the coi and where the family lived.

What a odd looking tree with a great history. It looks like you got good light on the tree, but is deem that the top of the tree has a blue tint to it. I do not know if it was caused by the processing or the upload. Thanks for the very interesting notes on the tree.

Thanks for your review, the blue tinge is common with the gum trees I think it has something to do with the eucalyptus in the leaves but not sure.

Focus, colour, interest and depth of field are all very good. I love the background detail as well, and am amazed that the tree has actually survived man! Thanks for sharing.

What a wonderful tree and great story. Lighting and focus very good showing all the intricate markings of the tree. I like the angle you took this from with the tree standing out against the lovely blue of the sky. Great composition.
