A very nice painting here and I bet a great place for those long walks with that special someone! I think I might have added some bright color here of something, a sign or something like that to add a wee bit of spice to his beautiful painting!

Your use of water soluble oils interest me. Unfortunately I am not able to find them in the stores here.May be I will pick up some during my next visit to USA. I like the atmospherics you have created here and the carefully places textures. Overall this gives a fine impression. I am also partial to pathways. Many thanks for your great review. I'm glad you like it. The water soluble oils are made by Winsor & Newton and called Artisan, so maybe you can get them on line?

What a beautiful, impressionistic presentation! The colors are so soft and lovely. It has an old masters feel to it. Love the blue/green tones. Composition is excellent. Nice work and very well done!

This is very lovely! Do they have the cobble stone roads? I like how the road narrows and pulls your eye in.I love the big trees framing the edges.The colors are very lovely.It was nice of Roger to let you paint this. I think you have done a fantastic job!

Thank you so much for your very nice comments. I'm very pleased you like this. Yes, Roger was very kind to let me use his photo as a base. No, we don't still have cobble stone roads but the surfaces can still be a bit tricky for driving!
