This is fascinating the way you caught two of them like this. I like the close up and the details you see in the one. Lighting and focus are great. An excellent picture.

Rain? I know all about that stuff!! Had it pouring down on me for 8 of 9 days now and the forecast is predicting at least 2 more days of it here in the UK. Never thought that snails would get to orange trees! Good full frame composition of the scene, but I feel that you got too close. The leaf on the right hand side is a too much of a distraction as it is out of focus. I also feel that the shot would have benefited by using a larger aperture, say f11, to provide a bit more sharpness to the background. Hope you removed the snails!

Thanks for the feedback and useful tips - they were actually a couple of rogue branhes that had grown low down so removed them as well as snails. Beautiful here today currently 24C and 31C tomorrow.

Great we have 2c here!! What a great image Mary! The snails are gorgeous and you have captured them with good sharp focus and wonderful natural scene around them! Perfect framing as they head to the other side of the page!! Love the natural colors!

Great title for this one. Excellent detail on the snails and great capture to get there head looking over the leaf. Very nice color and light . The rain sure made a very good setting to give a shine to the leaf and your light on the snail is great! Thanks for the information!
