these birds are so hard to capture..I sat once around a feeder for several days trying to get a decent shot...couldn't even get near
so congratulations..you did it

A very professional and effective use of flash in this photo. The suspension of the bird in the air is intriguing and amazing. Trying to capture a humming bird is hard enough. The way the tail spread up is very good. It looks like multi-exposure and I think it is not. I love the way you frame the shot, its cool!

I think this must be one of your best. Not only because the focus is sharp and the details in the birds are great. It is not even only because your use of light is good. It is the black background and how especially the tail feathers are really standing out. It looks like a little silver bird. This is art. I like all the negative space and I like very much the creative and original composition. Well done.
