I can only imagine that they are extremely difficult to photograph, but you do such and awesome job. I like this one with the wings back. I, too, watch these little guys all spring and summer come to my feeder just outside my bedroom window where I have my easel set up. My daughter was amazed that they actually sit on the perches and eat for quite a long time.

I can only imagine that they are extremely difficult to photograph, but you do such and awesome job. I like this one with the wings back. I, too, watch these little guys all spring and summer come to my feeder just outside my bedroom window where I have my easel set up. Now if you only had a bright pink ore yellow flower of some kind in front of the bird, then you would be really talking!. Could you maybe ask the bird to pose next time? This is really amazing detail. And what patience you must have to sit for this shot. Great job!

Another shot with great impact. Love these little guys as you know this one has good presentation. Color is rich. Center of interest is this little guy suspended in space. Technically always a very nice work from you. The story is excellent and always educational. Lighting is very good.
