What a beautiful close-up. Vivid colors and motion. I like the black background which brings the bird out. Thanks for sharing.

Hard to get is an understatement! This is so awesome, Willie. Such great details, colors, and clarity. Not easy when your subject is moving so darn fast!! Beautiful shot that deserves a six...well done!!

Great capture of the lovely little humming bird in flight. Very interesting accompanying notes too. I like the angle you caught him at. Lighting and focus very good showing great detail. The black background works as a perfect frame. Very nice composition.

Consistency pays off. Like the slight blurred effect in the tail and wings, keeps the feeling of moment. And the lighting on the wings are somewhat transparent which allows the viewer to get the finer details of the wing. Excellent presentation and well presented, John

This one is well worth the time and effort. Great capture. I need to get my feeders out and star shooting, but it is still next to 100 so maybe I will wait a few more days. I get buzzed sometime. I think they are telling me to hurry up and feed me.

Thank you so very much! They buzz me too! I have had them get in my face only inches away and look at me!

Well Willie i see you havent lost your touch. THis is very good. Good placement allowing the bird some room to move into. The dark background provides an excellent contrast to the bird, Makes it more enchanting. The external flash & higher ISO has given you good luminosity while still alllowing a fast shutter speed. Nice focusing there my friend, Well done
