Interesting shot. Very creative. You shot this at a very nice angle to catch the reflection. I think it lacks a little clarity, but overall I like it. Good work.

Sure the photo seems a little grainy and not very crisp in focus.

Thank you again for the fast replay. Unfortunately I still do not understand. The focus is solo on the reflection. Could you please explain how to get a better focus of a light reflection on a plastic curtain. I do not know. I can not see any grains either. Sure there are lots of gray spots allover; but especially on the blue book. That is the dirt on the plastic cover I mentioned in my comments. The scratches you see are also part of the plastic texture. I do not want to blame you or ovoid a negative review. I don't care about rating and stars. I just try to understand what you criticize because I still do not see it for the only reason of making better photos. Please explain. Thank you for your patience.

Sure thanks for not being super defensive. What I am seeing is not on the plastic but on the book the god of delusion. Look closely at the letters and notice how they pixelate. They seem to jig and jag a little. Can you see it?

OK, I did. I blow my original up to 400% and see only that plastic and cover and the dirt on it distorting the view of the books. more and more. This is an old plastic curtain over the books. I cannot reval my location without violating contest rules, but this public library dos not met any US standards.
I also do not understand why the bocks should be in clear focus. The aren't of interest for the story or the contest. The ghost would be on the cover when there would be something else behind.
Dos the black book really matter? I could it cut off like an white book what was originally on the left but way to dirty.

Thats up to you. I am not a contest judge. I am only reviewing the photo as a whole, all parts.

Ok I know that and I understand. II try to understand your point of view. I did not ask for your decision, just for your toughts about. That is how I learn. You are mistaken about the judging. You are entitled to vote in the contest. Every member of FAR is. There are no limitations of how many people vote. There are no contest judges. The winner of the contest will be chosen by a free anonymous voting. It is in your decision if you vote or not.

I realize that. I will not be voting in this contest though. Agree to disagree.

OK, just want to make sure you know. Many of our newer members do not.

Interesting ghost delusion!
composition good,
center of impact good,
clarity off,
color tones off,
initial impact okay,
definitely different.

Thank you very much for your kind review and your input. Please could you explain why you believe the clarity and colors are of and how I could get a light reflection on a dirty plastic curtain more clear. I do not know.

well, it may be my computer, that i don't know. maybe try toning down the brightness slightly, and the contrast up slightly. The idea of the composition is cool though. Some of mine appear slightly blurred on the site as well, others don't. May God Bless.

This is neat the way you r ghost appeared on the book like this. I like the way he even has eyes so that he can see you. I like the way you took this so close up. An interesting picture. Good luck in the contest.

Thank you very much. This was a true shot of choice. The ghost was there only very short time. I could get only two shots of it. I just was lucky. I just wish the plastic curtain would have been newer and cleaner.
