No I don't want to see the whole head. This crop is perfect it concentrates my eye just where you want it to go. Detail and colour are very good. The angle taken make this image stand out. Mitch

Like this angle. Different, yet the eyes get you. The clarity is great. Lighting is good. And the blurred background is great. Good job.

Comments: You are right I would have preferred to see the entire head of the cat, but this also works. I think you have accomplished your goal of concentrating on the eyes. This is what tweety sees when hanging around your bird feeder. Mighty scary if I was a bird, unless I was a great big bird. I understand that this could be lunch for a Great Blue Heron. You have done well in capturing the intensity of this cat at getting to your birds. Thanks for the great artist notes and the great information on camera and camera settings. Thanks for sharing.

Love the crop on this, almost gives the impression that he is a big cat instead of a domestic. Great color tones. Luminosity of the eyes is striking. Great light.

Thank you very much for the review. I can see you are new on this site, and I hope you are going to enjoy it. When you give a photo 3.5 as in this case, it usually means that it is quite a lot that needs to be corrected, but you say you would not change a thing. Then 3.5 is not the correct rating. You have to tell what is wrong and what you would correct to use 3.5. Still I know it is not easy to be a new member, but with patience you will find the right way to use the site.

Who needs the whole head when the eyes are you focal point in this image! Amazing eyes and the clarity is perfect. Like the crop and the way the face fills the frame! As usual your b.g. makes the subject just shine! Lovely image AVMurray!

you did a very nice job on this, i love the close up as you can focus more on the eyes, and the eyes of cats always have so much emotion and passion in them,
