A beautiful picture of this Historic Plane so beautifully restored. Taken with excellent camera techniques, soft lighting & sharp focus.
These were the plane my Father said you flew "By the seat of your Pants"....he was a Pilot in WW2.

Now this plane looks like it is in someone's garage. I like the write up about this plane. I like the way you took it so close up. An excellent and interesting picture. Bet it would be fun to ride in this one.

thank you for the back story, I appreciate that when viewing photos, I love plane sin motion or not, I admire them, always go to the airshows, so to me this is an odd photo, as not alot of people photograph them, and I love it

Thank you for including the wonderful story of the man and plane. Composition just about get's it all in. Colors
And focus done well. I can see it was out of your control, but the lighting was a bit dark. Very interesting Focal point and center of interest. Thanks for sharing this picture and Story! Royal

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the story and photo. Your right about lighting, the plane is housed in a glass fronted (and one side glass) building and to get the angle and as little reflection as possible I was limited to choice. :) Mary

Heard about this fellow and truly a tragedy Mary! Like the image of his recreated Red Devil air plane and the plane itself is stunning! Nice shot with vibrant reds and clear focus! Nicely framed for a nice view of the historic plane!

Thanks again Bob, there were a couple of model planes next to the large one but couldn't get them due to reflection on glass :)
