Me personally liked the other one better, it showed the reflection more and gave the illusion of more crayons and color. Add to that the great look for a poster in a grade school. I like his one also but the other one is my favorite,

Thank you for your input, I agree with you, this one seems really boring now, after seeing it so often...its the colors I can't resist...I consume colors like some people consume food! LOL! Have a great evening!

It is need as well but I like the box better, because the box is more unique. Nevertheless this here is a good capture also, more real looking than the reflective crayons in silver.

Overall I think this does come off better. The lighting concentrates the eye into the center while the specula effect of the points add interest.Mitch

Good concept, you can do an entire series of crayons, photoshop to bend them or arrange them is unnatural positions, leaning against each other. Well done, I enjoyed this.

Thank you for your super comments and suggestions! Unfortunately I have seen enough crayons this week to last me a lifetime! LOL! I am glad you like this image..maybe after break, I will be ready to do more with crayons.........

Its another great colourful shot by a master experimenter! Nice full composition which exhibits excellent focus and exposure. I prefer the first one because it was a "busier" photo with lots to look at and lots going on to think about. Both are good, but the first is better! Well done again!!

Thank you for your super comments, and the time it took to review this. Also, I appreciate your opinion....I agree now, seeing them side by side.....the only thing I liked more about this one is that the focus is consistent and there is order to it...but thats not me anyway, the more unusual, the better!

I liked the effect of the reflections. I'd have to say, this one seems brighter, although I think the shadows are darker on the lower crayons. Not looking at the shots side-by-side, it seems to me that the other one showed more detail, even though it did have some soft focus. I think I'd go with the reflections, if I had to choose one or the other.

Thank you Old Redeye, for your nicely detailed opinion....I am tending to agree now, after seeing them together and reading reviews...the only thing I thought was better in this one is that the focus is consistent and there seems to be order...but that's not me anyway..the more unusual the better!

Actually it was just one of those regular 64 packs, but it looks like more...especially in the other one because of the metallic box. Y]Thanks again, you have been a great help!

Thank you darjenka for your input and helping me decide which one is better, I can't tell anymore after sorting and editing through so many CRAYONS..I never want to see another crayon again!
