hi again willie. i can't go higher than a 5, but this is a '6'. yes, texture is a definite factor in this image. for me, texture and light are the first things i look at. impact here is great. just an outstanding work. thanks, tony.

Definetly will pass for texture. Lovely colours. Maybe just a tiny bit too closely cropped, but then again you're trying to show those feathers. Congrats.

I think it will pass for texture. I think the feathers look great but I kind of wish I could see a little more of the bird. Other than that I think its a beautiful picture.

Thanks! I never show much of the bird! The point is showing the detail of the fethers. If I show more of the bird you won't see the detail!

Great shot. This picture has great composition. The colors are great and the position of the subject is very good. I really like the detail of the feathers on the birds head and the contrast is great.. Very nice.
